A deep sadness and regret comes over me when ‘killing’ these misunderstood but highly deadly machines.

Well there’s one major plot point that’s hugely significant to the ship, but because it comes at the very end of their history together I can give a basic rundown without it. So
god help you you poor soul you don’t know the can of worms you’ve just openedA Crash Course in Caveline
DO NOT TEST - A FANMIX FOR PORTAL’S CHELL
SPOILERS FOR PORTAL 2. MASSIVE ONES. LIKE, BLACK-OUT-THE-SUN-SIZED.
Oh my god, this took forever, but it’s finally DONE. Please forgive my pathetic attempts at creativity, but I got this bug in my brain to do the write-up in a certain style and I had to give it an attempt. Hope you like!

all this e3 fuss is making me remember that wow, Portal really is an amazing game
simple fps setup, yet totally unlike any other fps
no combat, no health or ammo, no weapon variety, no real weapons at all
just a thing that makes holes
just a silent protagonist, a talking computer, and a thing that makes holes
and yet it’s one of the most unique and memorable games of a decade, and it’ll be a classic gaming staple for years to come
this, and I love how in-tune the mechanics are with the story—
you are taught how to complete the game in the first half, and you are a human in an orange jumpsuit forced to complete puzzles—
to solve the A.I.’s puzzles because it’s satisfying
thank you for helping us help you help us all
I was listening to GLaDOS’s Co-op dialogue while cleaning a few days ago, and it suddenly struck me how sad it is, and how sad SHE is at that point. Chell’s gone. The robots can’t replace her. Nothing can.
• when or if I started shipping it.
• my thoughts:
• What makes me happy about them:
• What makes me sad about them:
• things done in art/fic that annoys me:
• things I look for in art/fic:
• Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
• My happily ever after for them:
• what is their favorite non-sexual activity?

You’ve got sucker’s luck, have you given up?Well, I’m going to call this done!
I’d say this was about seven hours in photoshop with a ton of layers and a ton of undo-ing.
Sorry, Rattmann. Looks like you’re gonna have to get yourself out of this situation.

Portal Turret Study.
Really had to practice my pencil work and realism for the portfolio. I have two little sentry figures.. both camo style. So I did a drawing stare down with one and drew it out with a pencil and just some cpu paper. considered using a blender to clean up the dark shadows but it failed horribly in a corner thus the choppy look. Used a simple lamp for the lighting effect on the desk. Portal turret everyone. Cammo not included.

“Although the euthanizing process is remarkably painful, eight out of ten Aperture Science engineers believe that the Companion Cube is most likely incapable of feeling much pain.
Rest assured that an independent panel of ethicists has absolved the Enrichment Center, Aperture Science employees, and all test subjects of any moral responsibility for the Companion Cube euthanizing process.”What if, during the course of Portal, Chell was only 9 years old? (And she had to murder her best friend the Companion Cube…? As a child? In the testing facility?)
